DESCRIPTION:In Ruben Grijalva’s Anna Considers Mars – a play part science fiction\, part family drama\, and part hilarious comedy with a dark streak – Anna faces the possibility of a life-long dream to go to Mars while bumping up against a host of moral dilemmas here on earth. Anna is hopeful that there\, with a human species attempting to start over\, she can start over too. Now she just has to get her hands on a golden ticket. Anna Considers Mars is a crazy\, compelling\, complicated\, and comedic view of where we may be headed\, in the not-so-distant future\, when human habitability on Earth is critically threatened by climate change.  \n\n\nWHERE: The New Oly Theater at 412 Jefferson St SE (In the former Johansson Dance Center) \nWHEN: April 24th to May 9th\, Friday/Saturday at 7:30 p.m.\,  (Saturday May 9th 2:00 p.m. & 7:30 p.m.) Sundays at 2:00 p.m. Tickets $20. at olytheater.com – Friday April 24th is $20. or Pay What You Can.
