SUMMARY:Lightwire Theater’s The Adventures of Tortoise and Hare
DESCRIPTION:You know how the race ended — but the story was just beginning. Lightwire Theater’s The Adventures of Tortoise and Hare: The Next Gen picks up a decade after the finish line\, where Old Man Tortoise and Big Daddy Hare are now fathers navigating a world of smartphones and video games. When Tortoise Junior and Lil’ Hare disappear into unexpected territory\, their fathers must set aside a lifetime of rivalry and join forces. Told through Lightwire Theater’s signature electroluminescent puppetry and a soundtrack ranging from classical to pop\, this visually stunning production transforms a timeless fable into a poignant reflection on connection\, parenthood\, and what it really means to win. A spectacular family experience you won’t want to miss.\n\nThere will be a post-show Q&A and behind the scene’s look at the L-wire technology used by the performers.

SUMMARY:BATSU!
DESCRIPTION:Inspired by Japan’s infamous batsu game (罰ゲーム\, “punishment game”)\, four fearless comedians face off in improv challenges where failure means hilarious punishment – from shocking surprises to paintball splatters -all with the audience deciding their fate.\n\nHosted by Japanese TV star Brian “Bu-Chan” Walters\, BATSU! blends the spectacle of Japanese variety shows with the unpredictability of American improv. If Whose Line is it Anyway? and Squid Game had a child\, this would be it!\n\nCritics agree:\n• “This is truly our favorite thing we’ve ever seen\, anywhere.” — Playbill\n• “Hilarious\, strange and kind of sick!” — Thrillist\n• “Audiences roared with laughter.” — Chicago Sun-Times\n• “It’s ridiculous\, hilarious\, sexy\, gross – really\, it’s addictive.” — The Wee Review\n\nContent Advisory: BATSU! is not intended for young children. You must be 18 or older to attend this event. This experience contains flashing lights\, haze\, and simulated violence\, including the use of a paintball gun.\n\nTWO PERFORMANCES ON MARCH 27:\n\n6:00 PM AND 9:00 PM
