Roopa takes on the persona of Kasturba Gandhi\, Gandhi’s wife\, and tells her side of the story. \n\nOn Wednesday\, October 7\, at Traditions Cafe\, at 6 pm\, South Sound Story Guild zooms in two storytellers from out of town. DESCRIPTION:The first ever South Sound Choreographers showcase is hitting Olympia’s historical Capital Theater on November 7th and 8th. This event will showcase contemporary dance works by local choreographers\, co-produced by Sydney Blanchard Artistic Director of Moving Parts Dance Company and freelance artist Alice Grendon of Growing Wildhearted//DanCEthropocene. Thurston County is blessed with many dance studios offering dance education for young people and two fabulous ballet companies. There are dance classes for adults who wish to continue dancing as a hobby or pastime. The first annual South Sound Choreographer’s Showcase is something a little different and is specifically aimed at uplifting the work of adult professional dancers and choreographers in contemporary dance mediums who live and work here in the South Puget Sound.
