Celebration of the Species: Oregon Spotted Frogs!

Leaping Toward Conservation: Saving the Oregon Spotted Frog Discover the fascinating world of the Oregon spotted frog in this engaging presentation featuring stunning visuals and key conservation insights. Learn about its unique life cycle, the habitat restoration and management efforts at the Black River Unit, and the ongoing monitoring work dedicated to protecting this federally threatened species. Presenter Bio: Ryan Munes is a wildlife biologist with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and has been working in the field of conservation for over 15 years. Since 2019, he has been involved in conservation efforts at Billy Frank Jr. Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge, focusing on habitat restoration and species monitoring, including ongoing research on the Oregon spotted frog.
