Creature Comforts

Childhood’s End Gallery is proud to present “Creature Comforts” – a reflection of our found animal families celebrating critter companions of many forms. Featuring nearly 20 artists working in a variety of mediums, “Creature Comforts” is a buoyant exhibit exemplifying moments that help us feel more human.   “Creature Comforts” features two rescue kitten/cat adoption events with the local rescue group, Passionate Pussycats, on Saturday, April 5th from 11-2 and Saturday, May 3rd from 2-5 in our gallery space.   Join us for our Artist Reception during Arts Walk on Friday, April 25th from 5-10PM and Arts Walk continues Saturday, April 26th from 12-6PM.     3/14 – 5/4   The participating artists are:   Susan Aurand – mixed media Mary Denning – pastel Elizabeth Berrien – wire sculpture Liza Brenner – painting Colleen Cotey – wire sculpture Kristen Etmund – printmaking Marilyn Frasca – mixed media Beverly Fotheringham – painting Becky Frehse – painting Amy Fisher – mixed media Sara Gettys – carving Robin Gumaelius – mixed media John Gumaelius – mixed media Jonathan Happ – painting Deborah Henderson – pastel Victory LaFayette – mixed media Nancy Romanovsky – painting Judith Smith – mixed media Loralin Toney – ceramic sculpture Mimi Williams – printmaking   We are featuring music by Pat and Jamie Cole on Friday night Ann Finn is playing piano on Saturday 1-3PM
