StoryOly at Olympia Timberland Library

StoryOly is Olympia’s premiere Story Slam event. Created in 2015 and modeled after The Moth, community members come together to share and tell true stories based on a theme. StoryOly aims to encourage and develop community engagement and connection through the medium of storytelling. The theme for StoryOly at the Library is SURPRISES! StoryOly is hosted by Elizabeth Lord Elizabeth Lord has worked professionally as a storyteller since 1992. She has written and produced multiple full-length storytelling shows using material mined from her own life experiences and regularly offers storytelling workshops to the public. She is a member of the South Sound Story Guild, and co-creator and current producer/host of Olympia’s monthly storytelling slam event, StoryOly.
