Take the Chocolates and Leave: an Anit-Valentine’s Book Launch

Tell Valentine’s Day to get bent on February 14th, 2023, with the book launch of Olympian author Alissa Tu’s debut experimental memoir “Confessions of a Modern Day Kumiho.” The party begins at 6:00pm at Browsers Books located at 107 Capitol Way N, Olympia. There will be chocolates to take, but you won’t want to leave—not when Alissa starts reading as her alter ego: the man-eating nine-tailed fox known as the Kumiho. Book signings, things to sip, and maybe even some boys to scowl at. This isn’t a celebration to be missed.
