Music in the Park

It’s summer fun for the whole family! Bring your blankets and picnic baskets to Sylvester Park to dine as you listen to the great sounds of all music genres including classical, jazz, blues, rock, Americana and big bands.

The Olympia Downtown Association presents a series of summer concerts beginning on July 5 and running through August 19 at 7 pm.

These concerts, which include local groups and regional acts, take place in Sylvester Park in downtown Olympia and at the Port Plaza. Sylvester Park is one square block bordered by Capitol Way on the West, Washington Street on the East, Legion Way on the North and 7th Avenue on the South.

2017 marks the 38th year of the FREE Music in the Park Summer Concerts each Wednesday evening at 7 PM in beautiful Sylvester Park, downtown Olympia. Also, for the past eleven years the Port of Olympia has partnered with Music in the Park for two concerts during the summer at the scenic Port Plaza. 2017’s Port concert is Friday, August 4th and Saturday, August 19th. The concert season runs every week in July and August, starting July 5.
