Come hear critically-acclaimed, Olympia Native Hal Schrieve read excerpts from hir latest book Fawn’s Blood. Buffy fans and older teens (and adults) will die over this action-packed young adult urban fantasy novel. It follows two queer teenagers, a trans runaway named Fawn and a new vampire named Rachel, who find themselves tangled in Seattle’s hidden vampire subculture. The story is a metaphor for the real-world experiences of queer and trans youth seeking community and survival in a hostile world. Hope to see you there!
