Art Opening: Hadiya Finley Retrospective

Join us for an evening with artist Hadiya Finlay at The Tobin Gallery on Friday from 6-9pm. We will have over 40 years of her Sculpture and Paintings on display, the first time she has had a retrospective of her work hung and her first Solo Show. Hadiya has a storied career as she shifted through techniques to express her lifelong commitment to the female form. Works in Wood, Ceramic, Bronze, Paper-mâché and Resin as well as Oil and Encaustic works. She was a resident artist in Guangzhou, China for 3 years creating many of her bronze works as well as mixed media paintings combining exotic papers and wax.
