Animal Fire Theatre Auditions: Measure for Measure

Animal Fire Theatre is holding auditions for two projects.
Please read all of the following before requesting an appointment:
PROJECTS:
Measure for Measure — our outdoor, summer show which will start rehearsals in May and perform most of July. All roles are open to people ages 18 and up.
Animal Fire Theatre Presents… — our ongoing reading series held the 4th Thursday of every month at New Traditions.
AUDITIONS:
Dates: April 15th (Sat) and 16th (Sun)
Time: 1:00 to 4:00 PM (callbacks on 4/16)
Where: Squaxin Park (formerly Priest Point)
Appointments are required (see below)
SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS:
IF YOU HAVEN’T WORKED WITH US IN THE PAST FIVE YEARS
Please submit your audition request, along with your picture/resume and preferred appointment time to: animalfireauditions@gmail.com
AND
Please prepare a 1 to 2 minute Shakespearean monologue. Shorter is better.
IF YOU HAVE
Please send your pic and resume with a statement of interest to animalfireauditions@gmail.com. Please also note if you will be available for callbacks on 4/16.
FOR EVERYONE
Read Measure for Measure, dress warmly (the audition will be outside), and make sure you are vocally warmed up prior to arrival.
PLEASE NOTE
If you are unable to attend but would like to be considered, we are accepting video submissions. Please record your video, upload to YouTube, and submit the link by the end of the day on April 14th.
All roles are open. We especially encourage LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC actors to submit. A stipend is paid to all at the end of the summer show. (Readings receive no stipend.). Appointment scheduling will be sent out every few days.
