Intermediate to Advanced Cajun Fiddling

December 9, 2023 at 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm PST

Join this fun fiddling workshop for intermediate to advanced musicians with instructor Kelly Thibodeaux, a working musician from Louisiana with 25 years of experience teaching the Cajun Fiddle. Designed for ages 12+, participants will learn to play two Louisiana Cajun two-step fiddle tunes by ear. Music will be slowed down in segments to facilitate learning, and participants are encouraged to bring a recording device to record the session for later reference. Bring your fiddle and have fun learning Louisiana Cajun traditional tunes. Kelly will also share history & traditions of Louisiana Cajun fiddle culture with the group!
