Making Social Fabric: with Janice Arnold
Tuesday July 18 and Thursday July 20 (12 – 5pm)
Join textile artist Janice Arnold and other creatives on her team for this FREE public event filled with hands-on, interactive and visual experiences centered around wool, fiber, FELT and a massive felted projection screen. Watch videos of Central Asian felt making and explore the pop-up Felt & Fiber Lab and the tactile Forms of Felt Wall. Watch and learn — or sign up to lend a hand — as we layup 60 pounds of dry wool fiber that we will felt underfoot outside on the Armory lawn, Saturday July 22 at our Community Stomp! & FELT Dance Party (4-8pm).
