Take a musical journey through the American spirit with two beloved masterworks that celebrate the poetry, humor, and heart of a nation still discovering itself. Randall Thompson’s Frostiana sets the evocative verse of Robert Frost to music of luminous warmth and clarity. Paired with this is Aaron Copland’s iconic Old American Songs, a vibrant set of folk melodies arranged with Copland’s signature open harmonies and rhythmic vitality.
