SOGO Fall Concert

Join us for an exhilarating afternoon kicking off SOGO’s 25th anniversary season, featuring our Conservatory, Philharmonic, and Academy orchestras as well as the Brass Choir! Experience the stirring rhythms of Johannes Hanssen’s Valdres March, the dramatic flair of Mozart’s Symphony No. 25, conducted by Conservatory student Adeline Rice, and the vibrancy of Florence Price’s Dances in the Canebrakes, featuring dancers from Ballet Northwest. Plus, be captivated by Mark Thome’s inventive variations on America the Beautiful, featuring the rich tapestry of American musical heritage. This dynamic program of classical and contemporary compositions promises to inspire and uplift, celebrating the remarkable talents of over 160 young musicians from across the South Sound region.
