Afro-Brazilian Dance Workshop

September 27 at 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm PDT

Experience a mix of dance and traditions from Brazil with Deise Costa! Deise is a Brazilian dance artist, choreographer, and cultural educator with more than 15 years of experience performing and teaching in Brazil and across the United States. Originally from Piauí, she is deeply rooted in Afro-Brazilian traditions and is passionate about preserving and sharing Brazil’s rich cultural heritage. Brought to you by Samba Olywa and the City of Olympia Inspire Grant.  This workshop is FREE and open to the public! Space is limited, so please plan to arrive on time.
