Making Space Fundraiser – Arbutus Folk School

Join Arbutus Folk School for our 2026 fundraising event, Making Space at COVE. This event will raise funds toward our facilities and equipment to support the crafts, learning, and community-building that define us. Together we are making space: making space for creativity in our lives, making space for new passions and new friends, making space for more community members to make art. We are investing in the physical space that makes all this possible. Featuring:
  • Food and Drink by Cove
  • Art by David Calderon
  • Music by Reggie Garrett
  • Silent Auction of local art, gift certificates, and baskets open for bidding online and in person. Online bidding opens May 11th.
  • Remarks by Arbutus leaders & artists about the importance of our work and the impact of your donation
  • Art-making and merriment
