Summer Camps From Pacific Northwest Theater Co.

aliceby Christian Carvajal for OLY ARTS

Pacific Northwest Theater Co. (PNTC), headed by managing artistic director Steven Wells, has announced its summer 2016 lineup of summer camps for children ages 5-15. On weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., kids will learn the basics of acting and character development as well as singing and dancing. They’ll build confidence, make friends, and develop real skills that they can use not only on the stage but in other aspects of life. They will also participate in fun theater games to help them learn these concepts. The four weeks of camp culminate in a performance for friends and family, with a set, makeup, costumes, music and an adoring audience. Camps are two weeks long for children aged 5-9, and four weeks long for older children.
