Outdoor Film Screenings: a Summertime Guide

Several parks and societies screen films throughout the summer in Olympia. Families and movie buffs are welcome. Be sure to bring a blanket. The majority of these films begin at dusk, around 10 p.m. in July and 9 p.m. in August.


Screen on the Green

On August Friday evenings, the city of Tumwater will host Screen on the Green at the Tumwater Valley Golf Course. Seating begins at 7:30 p.m., and films begin at dusk.

Lacey in Tune: Movies at Dusk

Movies will be shown after Lacey in Tune free summer concerts on Saturdays. Each film begins at dusk.

Monday Movie Madness

Films have been screened at West Central Park for a number of years now. From August 8th onward, movies will begin at 8:30 p.m. Free popcorn will be provided.

Movies at the Mansion

The Washington State Historical society will host films on Friday nights. Free coffee will be provided, and events will be moved to the Coach House if it rains.
