The Year of the Horse, in the Chinese Calendar

May 13 at 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm PDT

Eva Abrams, master storyteller from Seattle, brings a celebration of the Year of the Horse, in “The World of Magic.” She shares folktales and personal stories, in the oral tradition, about horses. Olympia storyteller, Tobey Ishii Anderson, tells the Asian story of the 12 animals that make the lunar horoscope, the Great Race. This is a storytelling event sponsored by the South Sound Story Guild and the public is invited to attend. The second hour is Story Swap, audience members can sign up to tell up to an 8 minute story.
